Unhappy with RTI result ? approach Consumer Forum

During past 5 year of RTI toure, we have seen many situation somthing in favour of applicant but mostly in favour of corrupt PIO and this is due to Information Commissioner which are also belongs from the group of burocrates.
But time has going to change, when Hon'ble National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission New Delhi has in R.P. No. 1975 decided on 28-5-2009 that - RTI applicant has paid a fee under a rule (RTI) so he is a consumer and non submission of information by PIO amounts as 'defeciency in service" and consumer has the right to approach consumer forum for the compensation.
The Tribune, Chandigarh reported on 24-4-2010 that - District Consumer Forum Karnal (Haryana) has accepted complaint from RTI activist and issued notice to CPIO for not providing information within a time frame under the rule (RTI).
As reported in Dainik Jagran on 02/07/2010 that District Consumer Forum Meerut (U.P.) accepted complaint from RTI activist and issued notice to PIO for not providing information within a time frame under the rule (RTI).
News reported in Hindustan Times, Mumbai dated 12-12-2010 that Additional District Consumer Forum Nagpur fines cop for RTI delay. News reported in Hindustan Times, Mumbai dated 12-12-2010 link given below :-
